短短一條大埔道, 就有三家主打牛腩的麵店, 但是我還是最喜歡嵩記, 細細個去深水埗探親它已經開店, 應該至少有二三十年的時間, 現在每年去八仙餅家買五仁月餅前後, 也要過去品嚐其雜腩河, 還記得十年前一碗牛腩或牛雜河也不用二十元, 可以說是窮人恩物. 十年過去, 同樣的一碗現在要接近四十元, 但依然比很多連鎖粉麵店還要便宜, 而且多年來味道也是如此熟悉.牛雜中處理得最好的一定是其牛腸, 沒有臭味, 也沒有苦澀味, 保留着滑溜的牛脂, 切開數件尺寸一樣, 更容易入口. 牛腩雖沒有點明特別部位, 有腩邊肥美而彈牙的部位, 份量不少. 湯頭有牛骨香之餘, 又比不少麵店做得清澈. 説要改善的, 也許就是牛膀和牛肺口感有點乾, 但如此價錢, what you can expect for more?Song Kee has been established at Shum Shui Po for more than twenty years. Song Kee has been established at Shum Shui Po for more than twenty years. I had the rice noodles with beef brisket and beef offal since I were a child. The taste of soup is full of fresh flavor. The beef intestine is clean, full of fat and extremely soft in texture while the beef brisket is nice as well. Giving that the price is less than HKD $40, what you can expect for more!
