To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

尋尋覓覓，走過威靈頓街，在下午4、5點的時間，也常見到豚王坐無虛席，兩邊店子反而冷冷清清，早就想一嘗此店，看看有什麼吸引之處。進店看到點麵紙，可以自選濃淡湯，軟硬麵，甚至配菜都可以自選，tailor-made的感覺，更添好感。筆者選了濃湯豚王，普通軟硬的麵，其他都由廚師推薦，麵的份量其實頗少，筆者感到幾口已吃完了，看到旁邊有餐牌表示可加麵底，但又擔心再加會太飽，而且不便宜。筆者選的幼麵，真的比傳統拉麵店的都幼，有點像粗一點的上海麵，沾滿了濃濃的湯汁，暖烘烘的十分美味，湯汁味道濃郁豐富，不是普通的味精湯，而是濃得起膠，可厚厚的掛在麵上。吃罷這一碗，口中餘味留到晚上，接下來再吃其他店子的拉麵都覺得味道很淡，這次可謂一試難忘。
