吃日式放題,總離不開刺身、壽司、天婦羅……要突圍而出,就要想一些新的點子。這家「日式番本放題」,就乘著最近蒸氣火鍋的熱潮,推出蒸氣火鍋放題,讓食客可以在吃鮮冷的魚生之餘,又可以一嚐熱騰騰的蒸氣火鍋,務求做到一個價錢,兩種享受。與一眾朋友約好了在這裡等,因為放題限時的關係,待到人齊了我們才入座。我們入座的時間是七時十五分左右,屬於最貴的用餐時段,每位需付$208,用餐時間為兩個小時。由於一早聲明我們會吃蒸氣火鍋的關係,一座小型蒸鍋已放在桌面上。蒸鍋外型小巧,即使放在桌上也不覺太佔位置。在蒸鍋下面放了一點生米和水,以便在用餐的過程裡將這些材料煮成粥。說到底也是日式放題,當然還是先試試這裡的各種日式食物吧。個人最愛的軟殼蟹手卷,軟殼蟹的炸粉很薄,並炸至漂亮的金黃色,入口爽脆,蟹味香濃。米飯煙韌有致,略帶壽司醋的微酸。紫菜雖具一定厚度但一點也不難咬開,是新鮮的貨色。值得大讚的是這裡的壽司款式多樣而特別,充份顯示了店家的誠意。我們點了以下幾款壽司:首先是柚子胡椒針魚壽司,針魚味道本稍帶腥味,但加入了柚子和胡椒後就有可有效地辟去這種味道,而且可以嚐到頗濃烈的魚鮮味;之後是鵝肝帶子壽司,鵝肝味道突出
