乍聽《桃里》這個名字,還以為是「桃李」,這兒的裝潢令我想起上環的桃花源。一邊的大玻璃窗能眺望維港景色,可惜部份被大樹及公路所擋。看過點心紙,發現點心的種類有點特別,像燒鵝腸粉、鳳尾蝦小棠菜蝦餃、腰果吞拿魚叉燒酥等都比較少見。第一籠端來的是菠蘿叉燒包,不過菠蘿皮厚厚翹翹的,看起來就像一頂龜殻,我覺得店方如果將菜式名改為「龜殻菠蘿包」,倒是非常有趣。包身不大也不小,咬下去脆皮又脆底,內餡叉燒醬很濃郁,最神奇是脆皮不會掉落。這種「不落脆皮」,除了在佛山的吳系茶餐廳,好像都沒有遇到過。更難忘的是,整個包由頭燙到尾,令人不禁想到底師傅用了幾度的火喉把它焗出來的? 晶瑩鮮蝦餃一籠四件,透薄的皮露了內層的蝦肉,每顆均擁有飽滿的身型和結實的十二道摺口。不過餃皮有點厚,蝦肉雖然爽口,但油味和胡椒味太重,模糊了焦點。因為覺得挺特別,所以對這個芹香松子燒鵝腸粉很期待。腸粉頂部都分別鋪上了一粒松子仁來增加香味,不過效果並不顯著。透薄的腸粉皮下,包裹着無數連皮的鵝肉絲,厚厚的皮下脂肪令鵝味相當濃郁。腸粉內有許多綠色一圈圈的,起初以為是青蔥,入口那種清香和爽口才認出是西芹的味道。今日食力比較低,第四道點心已經開始
