To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今(3-8-2014 Sun)朝同男友起身後去買餸,諗吓,不如斬料.宦半隻燒鴨吧,行去海壩街o既聯和茶餐廳睇,$60.00半隻,好瘦有乜肉,買唔落手,燒鵝$330.00一隻.行去太興睇, 冇燒鴨,燒鵝$350.00一隻,切雞同豉油雞半隻都係$80.00,都係決定買豉油雞半隻.呢o度o既程序係,先同味部師傅講要咩o野,攞張飛俾錢,俾o左就等,等到後又將張飛俾師傅.等o左幾分鐘.到晚飯時間開餐,顏色幾靚,食落,雞肉嫩滑,就算雞胸肉都係;至於味道,唔太鹹,食到啲玫瑰露o既味,就係咁.至於師傅o既刀功,等幾分鐘都有連刀未斬斷.
