To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 太興每幾個月便靜俏俏加價,2年多來由$40頭加至$56....+33%人工都無加咁多!!所以有段時間都沒有再來。但最近好多餐廳都不停加價,於是再回到太興的懷抱。每次到太興食午餐都是叫燒味飯 (燒肉燒鵝雙併),啖啖肉,好味!另外會買咖喱牛腩罐頭 $18回家加餸,雖然罐頭,但咖喱香牛腩淋!這裡的價格高一點點,但環境相對企理,坐椅相對寬敞,服務相對好。今次轉下食常餐雪菜肉絲米粉 $45米粉不是平時食開的白色米粉,這裡用上的米粉有少少透明。口感彈牙爽口。肉絲用料新鮮,有肉味。雪菜味道甜甜的,好惹味!炒旦多士多士唔係厚多士,而且烘不夠脆。蛋的色好黃,好吸引。切下去,炒蛋有蛋汁流出,食落好滑。同事話好正,我覺得用料是好,但味道不是好好好突出,而且 $45太貴雜菌煙肉意大利麵 $45送上時的賣相比圖片更加吸引。意大利麵上放有大量紅紅的煙肉、裹面有紅、黃、青椒及洋蔥,非常Colorful!!菌類只有鮮冬菇秀珍菇,如果可以放多一、兩款菌會更吸食。煙肉切到細細粒而且炒到好香口,份量好多好多,會啖都有好香的煙肉粒,好正!忌廉醬汁香濃配上天使麵口感幼滑彈牙。整體好味,好食過好多西餐廳。冰鎮奶茶 +$3我的最愛
