From 1/21-2/9 in just 3 weeks I came to Ichitaki 4 times. Too much you think? No it’s super worth it. A brand new Japanese restaurant with a Japanese head chef, who could pass? From 1/21-2/9 in just 3 weeks I came to Ichitaki 4 times. Too much you think? No it’s super worth it. A brand new Japanese restaurant with a Japanese head chef, who could pass? From appetizer to dessert, each bite has a wow factor. Each piece of sushi is assembled with Chef’s meticulous care. Sirako was in season, I got the chance to try the same ingredient 4 different versions: with yuzu, risotto-like, tempura, in fish broth! What’s meticulous extends beyond food, Chef customized a menu the second time I revisited, and the 3rd and 4th were all amazing brand new gourmet tours. It is this attitude that makes me want to keep going back to support. Putting the quality food aside, you will receive excellent arrive the moment you step into the restaurant. Bryan is the man—patient and efficient! Taken too many pictures in each visit, looking at them reminds me what an amazing food trip they were. I can’t wait to visit again as soon as the stupid pandemic measures are lifted. Truly hope Ichitaki will ride through this wave and continue to stay on our local food map. If you are looking for omakase, come to Ichitaki, book Chef Aki san, it’s like a temporary getaway trip to Japan.
