在香港,雖然差不多可以食盡大江南北、中國八大菜系,但始終係廣東地區,外省菜館很多時候會合併在一起,尤以京川滬菜館最為普遍。雖然有不少街坊格局的地舖上海小館,但只能夠稱之為上海包點小店,談不上是正宗滬菜酒家,要找專一只供應滬菜或江浙菜的酒樓菜館,其實並不有太多選擇,但當中的「蘇浙滙」和「浙江軒」竟然皆獲得「米芝蓮」的青睞,可算異數。雖然一直以來,對於這一本源自鬼佬的美食指南品評亞洲菜式(包括中菜)的口味、能力及可信程度有所保留,但家人極力推薦「浙江軒」,決定訂枱一探虛實。去到才發現餐廳的下一層原來是香港浙江省同鄉會,莫非「浙江軒」原本只是只招待會員的會所?裝修雖然雅緻,但受制於先天條件所限,樓底很矮;樓面面積又偏少,枱與枱之間的空間唔算寬敞。整體感覺有點侷促,室內環境與附設於酒店內的星級中菜館有差距。為了儘量拉高用餐環境級數,裝修刻意增添特色:鋪上仿灰磗的牆壁,恍似正在中國古宅內用餐、中國戲曲面譜、大大幅特色中國風掛畫。淺墨綠色、狀似碧玉的餐具,更加強了中國風的感覺。大大本餐牌內頁圖文並茂,重點推介菜式的照片拍攝得美輪美奐,的確可以引起食慾及點菜的衝動。當然,價錢也是星級,每款點心或主菜
