Wanted to try Fairwood's Tonkatsu Again,as well as their 'latest & newest' Fried Oyster and Pork Loin set, since I've had a pretty good experience of the Tonkatsu last time. The Fried Oysters were just tiny and so unfresh, practically dried out corpses, it ended up being spitted out in the end. Unbelievably disappointing. The so called Pork Loin - just like little strips of chicken tenderloins, what's with that mis-advertising? The latter I guess were alright for its price. The Tonkatsu this

Wanted to try Fairwood's Tonkatsu Again,
as well as their 'latest & newest' Fried Oyster and Pork Loin set,
since I've had a pretty good experience of the Tonkatsu last time.

The Tonkatsu this time compared to my experience in another shop, was overly marinated, unfresh in texture, also quite hard and chewy. This was quite disappointing. My mother who actually tried this at this outlet before, here and also after at this outlet 3 times, concluded with her feedback that it wasn't as good as she has had it just once in another outlet somewhere else (not sure which branch though).

I actually quite like Fairwood, ever since they became revamped starting from employing 杜文擇 as their ambassador starting from some years ago, when they promoted their fresh Fried Eggs, Extra Long Pork Chop and the Long-Term Slow Cooked Curry dishes. However, I've had quite a few meals in this particular North Point outlet and compared to others I have tried - I must conclude that in general, I have never had a good meal in this particular shop (weird considering this is a chainstore with centralised supplies). But to be fair to the whole chain, my verdict about their porkchop and seafood-fry remains inconclusive until I eat it more at other branches.

IF FAIRWOOD IS READING THIS - COULD THEY PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DISCREPANCY OF PERFORMANCE BETWEEN THIS SHOP AND THE OTHER ONES? EVEN THE ROAST SECTION CHEF HERE IS RUDER THAN THE REST...

THE OLD LADIES SERVING US HERE HOWEVER, WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND COMMENDABLE. ITS REALLY PITY WHEN IT COMES TO THE FOOD..
差到爆燈個隻, 難食到要吐回出來。
