To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

有住家味道的越南菜館

和老父二人在大窩口搵食，遇到這間水準不俗兼有住家風味的越南菜館「越翠苑」。店內裝修不豪華，但光猛乾淨，第一印象已唔錯。先點了蟹膏檬粉，食落已知應冇點落味精。蟹膏伴在蒸蛋上，是典型的越南做法，其他餸有扎肉和豬紅。湯很鮮，老闆娘問我吃不吃辣後，便給我一點越南辣椒，加入檬粉味道即起變化，有趣。豬扒扎肉蒸蛋碎米飯，感覺更有在越南家庭吃的住家味道。尤其那一小堆碎米粉，十分開胃。咖哩牛腩配法包，牛腩炆得軟得老人家也吃到，辣只是微辣，老少咸宜也。法包脆脆的，點咖喱汁一流。兩件越南米紙蝦卷中，有一件有少許黏住蕉葉弄破了，老板娘看到即幫我換掉（期間我冇出過聲），夠細心。而那個加入很多花生的醬汁很惹味，連少吃越南東西的老父也讚不絕口。總之，此店感覺相當好，價錢也合理，我肯定會再幫襯！
