To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友由美國回來,說很懷念香港的潮州菜,原本有人推介藍田的一間潮州菜館,但由於他們今次回港住金鐘,覺得不太方便,後來上綱就找到這家店了。預早訂了位,當天也提早一些去到,所以完全不用等位。去到門口,眼見大集團的裝修都不俗,入到內裏,坐位也算寬敞,我們還被安排坐在窗邊位,可以招呼好友眺望着尖沙咀鐘樓食其日落晚餐,確是事前未有想到的一個意外驚喜。坐下開好茶,店員就送上餐牌和潮式餐前小食,餐牌內容清晰,而這潮式餐前小食中包含有豆干粒、花生、青瓜粒和酸菜,味道清香,花生和青瓜粒都非常爽口,酸菜夠開胃,豆干粒微韌有咬口,難怪朋友的女兒和她的男人都那麼喜愛這餐前小食。普寧鹽水炸豆腐,豆腐外皮炸得夠脆,內裏豆腐還十分嫩滑,入口清淡而香甜,附上普寧豆醬和清蒜鹽水兩個醬汁,可謂各適其式,蘸鹽水食法夠清香,點普寧豆醬味道就來得濃郁。涼伴豬腳凍,入口有幾分像上海菜中餚肉的口感,但啫喱狀的部份就相對多很多,口感更覺軟滑,味道却與外觀不一,外觀色澤頗為深色,令人感覺上是一道頗濃味的食品,但入口就有點點的鹵水咸香味混合豬肉的鮮甜,味道十足而又不過火,濃淡適中。好百年鹵水鵝片,鵝片略帶極少量的皮下肥肉,入口有半點油香,

作為這頓晚餐的終結,就選擇了這個最終極的甜品,水晶皮做得十分煙韌有咬口,而內裏的豆沙和蓮蓉都十分香滑,兩者都不太甜,相比之下,其蓮蓉的香滑程度更勝過豆沙餡
