Restaurant: Salaam Namaste Curry House
Info:

To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

係油麻地A1出口,行去大約5mins就到,好易搵。入到去已經好有印度feel,侍應and廚師都係印度人,講印度話,落單個陣,識聽識講少少廣東話,好地道既印度菜呀。望落細細間,原來樓上都有座位。叫左羊肉咖哩角Lamb Samosas (4件)($48),特色香料雞Chicken Makhni ($75),印度蒜茸烤餅Garlic Naan (3大塊)($20),椰子乳酪 Coconut Lassi ($35)。牆身有張紙介紹餐廳特色既食物,侍應都好熱情介紹有咩好食,其中就叫左蒜茸烤餅,因為餐牌有太多款啦,花多眼亂,樣樣都好好味咁。首先,有碟印度脆餅Papadum配薄荷醬,送既。脆薄餅落左黑胡椒,有少少辣,但好香。配上薄荷醬就好fresh,唔辣,開胃小菜。羊肉咖哩角最值得試。我好少食羊肉,一黎香港少有,二黎有陣羶味。但尼個羊肉咖哩角一d羶味都冇,而且係爆餡爆餡爆餡,入面有羊肉碎,青豆,啖啖都食到羊肉。配上甜甜地既燒烤醬(?),一d都唔膩,拎上手唔會油膩膩。一定要試,唔食羊肉既朋友,可以叫咖哩角,同樣係廚師推介。特色香料雞既顏色係深橙色咁,有d椰奶(?)。有8至9件雞肉,食落口好重印度香料既

羊肉咖哩角最值得試。我好少食羊肉,一黎香港少有,二黎有陣羶味。但尼個羊肉咖哩角一d羶味都冇,而且係爆餡爆餡爆餡,入面有羊肉碎,青豆,啖啖都食到羊肉。配上甜甜地既燒烤醬(?),一d都唔膩,拎上手唔會油膩膩。一定要試,唔食羊肉既朋友,可以叫咖哩角,同樣係廚師推介。

特色香料雞既顏色係深橙色咁,有d椰奶(?)。有8至9件雞肉,食落口好重印度香料既味,d雞肉冇雪藏味,醃得好。應該試下尼到既咖哩,有紅/白/黃/青。

烤餅係印度菜必叫既食物。侍應介紹蒜茸烤餅,一上菜已經聞到蒜茸油香味。以前試過去間泰國餐廳,佢俾d超市冰櫃買到既烤餅,仲要得2塊細。尼間真心好食,現烤,而且厚,每塊都大過手掌,正常食二塊已經飽哂。不過食完當然成口蒜味,驚既朋友就叫其他口味啦,eg雜果,芝士,牛油,羊肉都只係$30,又可以試羊肉又試到烤餅。

第1次見有椰子味既乳酪。甜甜酸酸咁好fresh,食完香料濃既食物就最岩。椰子味重,同飲椰青既味一樣,但多左乳酸既味道。eg有芒果口味可以揀。

總體,值得再試既餐廳,餐牌上面既餸菜多都一次試唔哂,起碼去幾次and一大班人先試得哂,用地道印度香料煮,夠哂風味。而且侍應服務好好,食食下會同你傾計,問下你好唔好食,有冇食過尼d餸菜咁。當日仲見到有唔少人去食lunch添。

P.S. 餐廳lunch有set叫,$48至$70,有唔同款,eg唔同材料既咖哩,羊肉卷Kabab,配飯/薄餅。仲有2/4/6人套餐添,好抵食。連地道既印度黃米飯尼d都有。
