暑假期間星期一至五也要上班,幸好office在旺角,這區亦有不少平靚正的餐廳。這晚男友接我下班到附近吃小菜,我們手拖著手走兩條街便到達靚煲皇。六時許已有幾枱客人,位置不算闊落,但看到大伙兒圍坐在一起,氣氛也挺熱鬧!我們只得兩個人,竟然點了五個小菜,最後把所有菜吃清光!先來一隻每日限量的燒乳鴿,外皮油潤光澤,色澤好像比平日吃到的深。趁熱咬下確是皮脆肉嫩,肉汁滴至滿手都是!只是胸肉部分有點鞋身,但整體還是不錯。蝦餅是這裡的主打小食,新鮮炸起熱辣辣,其實是雲呑皮夾著薄薄一層蝦肉,味道較淡,且有一陣油益味,跟預期中有點差距......蘸點wasabi汁可減油膩感甫端上桌便飄來陣陣椰香~嫩滑雞肉加入羅勒、香茅等香料,味道變得更香甜,很好下飯呢!又一道泰國菜,原來是老闆喜歡吃的緣故......拿一塊生菜包著混和新鮮香料一起炒的肉碎,加人馬蹄增加口感,生菜包可選大/中/小辣,小辣已經很夠惹味很久沒吃過咕嚕肉了!外脆内軟,入口帶嚼勁,肉味又香濃!醬汁濃稠適中,酸酸的非常醒胃飯後更送上冰鎮水果盤把西瓜和哈密瓜挖成球狀,方便客人進食,很貼心呢!
