Restaurant: Be My Goose

To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 該酒樓位於元朗形點商場1期,新開的店,本來帶點期待。地方不小,座位頗多,很快安排入座。82號枱,位於酒樓最裡面,有玻璃天窗有陽光照下來,但不覺得「曬」,但冷氣空調直吹整個範圍,包括打橫81、82、83號枱三張二人枱。冷氣是向着六個位置不停直吹,在枱上稍為輕的東西都不斷隨風飄揚。就算我有帶外套也覺得太冷。我有禮地要求坐其他位置,或可不可以調小一點冷氣,我想至少風細一點,也不會那麼容易感冒吧?我問了兩次可否調小一點冷氣,黑衫紅邊的男職員,一位有戴眼鏡,一位沒有戴眼鏡的,同樣的,都只是看我一眼就走開,而冷氣依然超大和很冷。其實要改變冷氣風口吹的方向,不難做到,即使要關門後弄,也可先說一聲不好意思。他們好像覺得我們無關重要,看我一眼就走開,兩次都是。鄰座的小朋友凍到用衣帽蓋住頭,不斷說:好凍,個頭好凍。完全沒人理會。食物方面,點心是一般美心酒樓點心,潮州粉果和蔥油糯米卷比較好吃,其他如紅棗糕馬拉糕都不好吃。它的招牌是「鵝」,所以點了一碟滷水鵝片,滷水鵝片味道普通,肉質比較乾,墊底的炸嫩豆腐更乾。招牌也不行,服務態度是致命的趕客原因。除了兩位男藍色西裝的送餐員比較有禮貌,會介紹菜式和說多謝,黑衫
