To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 以為抵食隔涉都刻意搭車去。一坐低就被店員阿姐挑引態度惡劣對待,其實部長已經問咗飲咩茶。轉頭位態度惡劣阿姐走埋嚟講咗兩字‘唔開‘,我都未知咩事就答已經嗌咗茶。個阿姐又發脾四咁重覆講‘唔開‘,原來部長頭先冇開茶叫佢嚟開。態度惡劣行埋嚟講唔開係咩意思?跟住我就好火咁回應,你可唔可以禮貌講清楚,唔開唔開點知你講咩。到食物方面,唔似係自製冇爆口嘅叉燒包,咸死人嘅小兒麻痺症鳳爪,空心燒賣筷子一夾落去唔係實,厚皮蝦餃,冇味叉燒瀨個湯淡如水,仲有油浸空心炸雲吞,全部有圖為証。絕冇下次。香港餐飲嘅悲歌,集團都做到咁。啲蒸籠又唔乾淨,明明個籠上枱係蒸蝦餃,有圖有真相,蒸籠邊痴咗啲飽皮,咁衛生都好麻麻囉。態度無,食物質素無,衛生都無。真係一粒星都唔想比。
