To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

我幫襯咗呢間本土小店已經多年，都算係一個街坊客！ 近來氣氛不是太好，本著支持本土小店嘅精神， 諗住買兩個飯盒，一個係畀樓下嘅伯伯。 但遇著一個態度惡劣， 黐住5cm長長眼睫毛嘅女收銀員，真係激到一肚氣， 我不嬲都好少寫劣評，但今次真係忍唔到！ 我只不過要求分開兩袋，你聽唔明，你可以問清楚，用廣東唔得，可以用國語，英文來問，但係唔係要用一種鄙視嘅眼神和語氣來串你啲街坊客呢？ 如果事頭婆同埋比較年長嘅店員，就唔會咁！ 可能佢係店主個女，唔想落鋪頭， 但唔好落嚟到米啦！ 我好後悔之前推介俾朋友同埋啲客！
