To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

路過屋邨看見麥記最後一日特賣，腍住慳慳地食過十蚊雞嘅芝蛋雞漢堡當午餐，點知人龍好長，雖然有螢幕顯示屏自助式購買餐，但係我要走芝士，咁對著螢幕顯示屏點講呢？？？惟有唔幫趁，轉向茶屋邨茶記，屋邨茶記有個英文Salala名稱，揀咗一個特選午餐嘢，冇骨海南雞飯，雞肉腍滑但係冇乜雞味，冇配菜，我向侍應亞姐問有冇薑蓉，亞姐指著小碟醬汁說：「裏面有薑蓉架！」，我心裏諗.......我唔係要呢的薑蓉，咀巴只能回應「哦！」！不過油飯就鹹鹹地幾好味，食完喇！要飲番杯熱檸檬蜜平衡番嗰份油淋淋嘅感覺。熱檸蜜要加兩蚊，$51的冇骨海南雞飯。
