To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天約了朋友午餐Farewell,朋友大約12:20分到達並坐下,位置在最入面,由於我正在塞車,朋友先代為落單,12:30左右,我到達時已12:50,我們聊左一陣已經13:00,由於食飯時間緊迫,見重未有任何上菜就叫店員問問,個店員一路行一路答已經整緊,而且表示不會去看單的情況就直接走左去,最後我朋友直接行出去問經理,經理先去追首先上菜既竟然係我最後落既單-Set I海蜇柚子醋沙律+細牛肉飯+雞腿肉呢個係唔錯,酸酸地既柚子醋配海蜇,開胃我肉飯一般,飯同牛肉都唔熱,冷冰冰雞腿肉還好,不太咸,所以點鼓油係非常好跟住係牛角特選牛五品燒肉定食老實講,只可以話口感一般,不太新鮮紫菜飯魷魚,好厚身,比較難咬,由於應該無腌過無咩味,還是配以鼓油比較好呢碟係徧咸,最後還漏了杯乳酸梳打,其實現場有很多員工,又唔係十分多人,唔明點解錯漏百出,漏完單又漏野飲,某幾個員工不理客人,我問杯乳酸都遞左五分鐘手,有員工睇到扮睇唔到,只有個經理比較好,下次應該不會來這間,失望!
