To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 話說當天是八十多歲壽星公生日, 他一直好希望食火鍋便帶他去試試, 我們已訂了位, 但我地早了點去到怕多人老人家不方便等太久, 所以早點到, 當時店內的人不多只坐了幾張檯, 有8成位置是空的, 而且出面都沒人等位, 服務員竟然要我們等到夠鍾才可入坐, 為何現在會有些不懂變通的人, 在食到差不多夠鍾叫他加湯, 他還說快夠鍾不能加, 我們只好叫她關爐因為已燒到幹水發出陣陣圯燒焦的味道以後都吾會到這間牛涮鍋, 服務員太差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差,差 一點都不慬尊重老人, 服務員, 服務員你們都會有老的一天的, 而且你們家中都有老人家, 請你們改改對代老人家的態度吧 ! 沒有當埸投訴你們, 已比了機會你, 請不要被下一位老人再受你們的氣吧 !  當天是大小同價又吾系平些, 為何要那樣做 ? ? ?
