To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 因為熊媽有張$50金豬券, 所以就選擇去太興吃餐晚飯, 已經好耐都無到過太興堂食, 記得以前(2年前左右)食嘅時候燒味雙併飯餐都閒閒地要四十幾蚊買單最就近屋企嘅太興就喺荃灣區, 呢間太興比較新淨但長條型嘅鋪位, 左邊是開放式厨房而右邊才是一排四人卡座。就是鋪位這麽細間, 所以餐廳開放式厨房只提供燒味飯及容易烹調的扒飯、多士漢堡包、煎腿蛋午餐肉湯粉麵及預早煮好的咖喱牛腩飯, 完全沒有即炒食品供應原本大家都選燒味三併飯餐, 要肥义燒 後來有女侍應生告訴我們今天的义燒不肥 咁咪就係服務態度囉 比別店鋪優勝的地方是廚師唔會無嗰樣但都照迫客人要第樣, 什麽都事先詢問, 實無衰(不過, 可能有些客人不會appreciate這種服務, 他們會認為員工唔識變通, 哎呀~ 一樣米養百樣人呀~)咁我們就由三併改為雙併(便宜了約$10), 晚餐連油菜一碟及例湯或熱飲, 凍飲加$3, 特飲加$8油雞併燒鵝飯餐$54...油雞皮有層啫喱狀的脂膏, 浸雞的豉油汁帶甜而且鹹度低, 雞肉雖不太算嫩滑, 少少嚡但竟可帶出熟雞肉的甜度;燒鵝皮還算脆, 脂膏的鵝燥味濃, 肉厚得來不乾硬, 軟軟的真好吃 骨頭裏也充

油雞併燒鵝飯餐$54...油雞皮有層啫喱狀的脂膏, 浸雞的豉油汁帶甜而且鹹度低, 雞肉雖不太算嫩滑, 少少嚡但竟可帶出熟雞肉的甜度;燒鵝皮還算脆, 脂膏的鵝燥味濃, 肉厚得來不乾硬, 軟軟的真好吃
骨頭裏也充滿了濃香調味品的霸道。 飯雖未去到煙靭可口但也是適合脾胃, 粒粒分明

燒肉併燒鵝飯餐$57 (因為凍飲加$3)...太興的燒肉用自家研發旋轉式燒烤爐, 以熱風代替明火烤焗燒豬。 是否因為這樣所以燒肉皮不夠脆, 肥膏並不是嗦嗦聲般清脆, 調味不過鹹, 肉質有點實。
