To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

昨晚8時許到 KCAL晚餐，進店後看見客人不多，要求坐珈位，但被服務員拒絕，原因是已被定位，當時心想深井區一間不大出名餐廳也有人會定坐進餐？不以為意，及後於用餐完畢，珈位仍然沒客戶入坐。餐廳提供餐前麵包，質素還可以，餐湯太鹹一般。當晚分別點了羊柳天使麵及大蝦帶子天使麵。羊柳無味，天使麵太多汁但淡，大蝦一點也不大，只有兩隻，吃下淡而無味，雪藏貨式，帶子與麵條一樣。兩人結帳300元正。是晚給予客人感覺，餐廳自以為是，服務死板，未能滿足客戶需要，食物收費中價，但給予下價貨式。
