To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 又話宜家市道唔好,但星期六去飲過茶,中午都係有好多人,全部坐滿!我哋人多,要咗個餐,再額外叫咗點心。呢個北京填鴨係真係成隻會喺旁邊片畀你嘅,咁片得就比較厚啦,味道係正常嘅。蒸扇貝翠玉瓜炒魷魚呢個係炸花枝丸。好搞笑,佢哋全部都會攞超級大嘅碟去放食物,就算啲食物根本唔洗咁大個碟,所以都好佔table嘅位。蒸魚,食到一半先醒起影相。跟餐仲有呢一個係薑蜜千層糕,中間嗰啲就係薑蜜,仲有啲提子干。我就鐘意食薑,所以覺得ok,但係有好多人都覺得薑味太濃,好辣。仲叫咗啲腸粉同燒賣。整體嚟講正正常常啦,但係算係比較貴,而且呢頭其實都有好幾間茶樓,下次都是睇下另一啲菜樓會唔會cp值高啲。
