先拿起檯面的餐牌細看,Menu 一頁過,食物款式主要分為六個項目,包括 Starters、Sides、Mussel Pots、Frites Vegetarian Board、Frites Healthy Board 及 Mains。至於飲品方面,既然是啤酒屋,店內當然有不少精選香檳、生啤、葡萄酒及烈酒等供應,不過由於兩口子都不勝酒力,還是決定點無酒精的 Mocktails。

先選了杯 Friars Sweetheart ($55),成品用上小紅莓汁、蘋果汁及蜜糖炮製,色澤嫣紅,入口帶濃郁莓香,很討人歡喜。至於另一杯以菠蘿汁及椰子忌廉調製而成的 Coco Colada ($55),味道亦不遑多讓,雖然椰香味較重,但入口清爽怡人,充滿熱帶風情。

至於食物方面,在服務員推薦下,點了客 Crab Tian ($130) 做頭盤。蟹肉先以檸檬汁提鮮,再加入芹菜、蠶豆、牛油果、番茄和豆苗,並以蛋黃沙律醬拌好,再堆砌成蟹肉塔模樣,不但用料豐富,而且賣相好精緻。先試一口,啖啖蟹肉,而且味道仲好清新鮮甜,伴以旁邊的脆多士,好吃得令人停不了口。

「青口」是餐廳的招牌菜,既然一場來到,當然要點番一客品嘗。據服務員稱,餐廳的青口,現時有 6  款不同口味可供選擇,而分量就可以揀 1/2 KG 或 1 KG。就一於簡單點,選客 House Mussels 招牌青口鍋 ($235/0.5kg) 品嘗。青口以番茄粒、香蒜、洋蔥及忌廉烹煮而成,端上桌時仍熱辣辣,入口肉質既鮮甜又夾雜著一點鹹,味道仲帶點周打蜆湯 feel,幾特別。至於伴吃的薯條亦是亮點,炸得鬆脆香口,而且薯味十足,絕對不能錯過。

主菜方面,點了餐廳的另一招牌作,750 gm Roasted Pig Knuckle 烤豬蹄 ($245),原來據說這隻豬腳要花上三小時烹煮,而且端上桌時,見分量極大,初頭還有點擔心會吃不消。先叉起豬皮入口,薄得來又夠香脆,皮下更不沾半點肥膏,吃起來不油不膩,果然有水準。而老公就讚隻豬腳,肉質夠滑溜,鹹香度亦剛好,配上墊底的雜菜吃,不但味道清甜,而且更可以平衡豬腳的濃味。

吃完這道豬蹄後,其實已經很飽,不過敵不過甜品的誘惑,決定再點客 Belgian Waffles 比利時窩夫 ($80) 作結,窩夫呈長方形、厚底和大格子,端上來時已經分成兩件疊起,面頭放上甜忌廉,而底層就伴以朱古力醬。先切開窩夫一試,質感軟綿煙韌,唔算鬆化,不過以朱古力醬伴吃,十分匹配,入口唔單止滲出濃郁的可可香,連味道和飽肚感都攞滿分。其實當日店員還推介了不少招牌菜,可惜兩口子食力有限,惟有擇日再訪。
