To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 之前去過太古城北京樓,人逼逼又嘈又亂,今次去中環店,果然不同,搭多幾個站地鐵都抵!環境:新派中菜格局,安排坐房中,格外寧靜服務:真係無得扣分,我地一行6人坐低,我問佢有冇櫈比我地放袋,佢即刻拎張木枱仔出黎放響牆邊。點菜個陣有d菜名唔知係乜,佢會好有耐性解比我聽。細佬想食富貴鷄,但冇預訂好在佢話做多左1隻,我地即刻要。期間又會主動加茶添水富貴鷄好香荷葉味,鷄好滑 個殼由老豆敲爛,侍應拍即影即有相,仲送迷你金槌子留念,之後由侍應拆殼。片皮鴨保持水準普洱夠濃,老豆至中意清蒸魚入口即溶,如果少d油仲好豆付冬菇煲,豆付好滑上湯莧菜,好似油左dd整體而言好滿意,唔知飲茶水準如何呢?
