To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 本身想去隔離潮庭飲茶,無奈佢整水喉要停下午茶,為有去北京樓口,一坐底又無QR CODE又無點心紙我問侍應點落單佢先比張QR紙我,QR CODE落單對我嚟講真係好普通,我同我妹只係用左幾分鐘叫左8樣野當我確定訂單佢叫我聯絡職員,好啦叫左部長嚟問佢我個訂單點解出錯碼,佢同我講超過5分鐘就會落唔到單或者有食物售罄,我問佢甘我係咪需要重新落過部長重複同我講你超過5分鐘,唔緊要我想知我係咪要重新落過因為我真係好肚餓,試問我用開QR落單都落唔切請問老人家點落到單叫到野食?個apps又無相啲字又細老人家帶得老花眼鏡都超時,叫左炸雲吞同蓮藕餅,一見到已經油到反光,將蓮藕餅個牒移開小小一掂個牒都熱既就已經知炸物係叮熱唔係即炸,個炸雲吞仲要有油益味,最好食就係馬拉糕,牛柏葉個樣唔錯架不過無味,好啦我兩點半坐底3點半就行嚟問我兩次啲野到齊未我話仲有一個,再隔一陣又行嚟問我都係講仲差一個侍應就問咩嚟已經衝入廚房拎出嚟一放底就話埋單要下班,都唔緊要既埋單先啦因為比信用咭所以侍應根本就係等我地拎銀包出嚟一嘟就已經完成,比左錢後5分鐘已經熄左我地張枱燈,因為我坐1A枱係自成一角,其實大家都知北京樓就算有下午茶優惠都
