To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. $30的小鍋米線只是當時推廣價, 原價要多數元. 還記得當年在香港仔店吃雙併粉麵的時代, 那時它未大肆擴張, 還是舊式模樣, 說不上什麼裝修, 但價錢便宜多了, 對我這個不重裝潢的人來說, 那才是值得欣賞的時候, 現在是付錢讓眼睛舒服點, 坐得寬點, 但適合不趕時間想坐久些的人. 其實現在的裝修模式也只是一般快餐店那種, 可能因地點令舖租比老舖貴很多的關係吧. 雖然不是很貴, 但習慣了舊式店那時的模樣嘛, 反正味道沒大分別, 又不是改進了. 那天周末店內人多, 落單後等了頗久. 菜肉雲吞的味道和湯底及配菜也算一般吧, 要的是小辣版, 等於正式的雲貴店那種微辣版. 大概有5-6隻. 湯底不算特別, 怕有味精所以多喝. 米線質地略軟了, 不彈牙.
