早前放工後行經 The Hennessy,發現了一間新泰菜。碰巧有飯局要找地方,一於前往試試。這間泰菜館的前身是一間壽司店,筆者依希還有少許印象。店內的主體格局沒有太大變更,只是多了一些富泰國風味的掛飾。是晚美食由好友發辦,大家可坐定定先閒聊一會,享用一杯美酒特飲。筆者要了一杯香甜芒果沙冰,夏日風味濃,果香甜度足,十分合襯配上接下來的辣食小炒。頭盤是泰式札肉沙律及泰式柚子蝦沙律,兩者皆是味濃帶辣之作,尤其是札肉沙律,內含大量香蔥、洋蔥、紅蘿蔔等配料,只是佐料味道過於濃烈影響了沙律應有的清新食感。相比之下,柚子蝦沙律因引入汁豐味甜的柚子,整體味道來得平和,較適合作為開胃菜。接下來的兩道小吃皆是筆者喜愛的選擇。泰式炸蝦餅炸至色澤金黃,脆香而不膩口。香葉包雞更是遠高於水準之作,雞肉肉嫩多汁。以油泡處理的雞件仍能保持這種嫩感實屬難得!冬蔭公海鮮湯是泰國菜的代表之一,湯頭的香茅與椰漿味道皆很濃郁,辣感不算很重,口味平易近人。湯料以海鮮及雜菌為主,尤以大隻大頭蝦肉實味香最為吸引。接下來是三道海鮮菜式,泰式生醃蝦蛄以游水瀨尿蝦精製,面上灑上秘製酸汁以刺身型式送上。因瀨尿蝦比較黏殼,吃時或多或少會浪費
