To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 同朋友行完街要搵野食,海港城入面雖然多餐廳,但一係多人一係好貴,要搵食都唔容易最後因爲有會員coupon,決定食牛角呢個穩陣之選!遇著星期六,七點鐘拎位,接近九點先入到去食,好在一邊行街一邊等一坐低即刻點餐,實在太肚餓,亂點左幾碟肉兩人份量剛剛好!首先係肩脊肉(黑松露月見汁),黑松露好香,令到牛肉生色不少呢個蒜香一口牛一定要推介,醃得好有蒜味,牛肉唔易燒得太老,啱哂我呢啲冇技術既人鹽醬肩脊肉,只要唔好燒得咁乾都好好食燒汁豬頸肉,豬頸肉份量夠多,燒完即食夠香口好味太肚餓關係叫左碗牛角飯,原來係普通既白飯加紫菜,但硬係覺得呢度啲飯特別好味而且啲燒肉好送飯,一人食一大碗飯完全不是問題!最後係呢個牛角冷麵,之前食過記得好好食今次先再叫,但今次水準麻麻好咸要過一過水先入到口,麵質又太硬,實在一般,下次唔會再叫但係今次用埋會員免加一,仲扣埋$100coupon,每人都係$100多啲,係海港城黎講算好抵!
