To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天是母親大人的生日,我約了家人一齊去鯉魚門吃出名的海鮮,吃海鮮常常有海鮮價,但這次去富臨竟然是明碼實價的海鮮套餐,每個人才$368就可以吃到這麼多款式的海鮮,性比價超級高!!上菜一開始就已經是冰鎮鮑魚沙律,想不到有鮑魚吃,雖然是頭盤,但已經非常驚喜了。然後是白灼生蝦,雖然份量不多,也沒有很大條,但也能夠吃到鮮甜的味道。我最喜歡的一碟,芝士開邊焗龍蝦,芝士很足夠,開邊之後很方便就可以吃到滿口的龍蝦肉了。也是很好吃的椒鹽尿蝦,吃賴尿蝦不能太心急,因為蝦殼都比較硬,要小心手指喔蒜茸粉絲蒸鮮帶子是100分的海鮮配搭之一,我就是喜歡它蒜蓉清蒸,再多點粉絲就好了清蒸龍躉件,爸爸喜歡吃魚,已切片的龍躉就不怕有骨頭了。豉椒炒花蛤,沒有沙,清潔得挺好,很重要,不然吃下去很麻煩。每人只是三百幾塊就吃到快十個小菜,非常劃算!
