Always wanted to try this place but some other restaurants came up our mind whenever we pass by. Menus are putted up on the wall and glass around the shop. The soup was very hot when served and the color is so dark (different from other fish maw soup I had). Not a lot of restaurants have heart to boil soup now, a lot of places add MSG to make the soup taste nice whilst using less soup ingredients. Several fish maws and one big mushroom was found inside the soup, kind of surprised me! From the soup, I could see this restaurant have heart to prepare dishes for customers. After seeing the big mushroom, I understand why the color is so dark . The soup taste is clear and fresh (homemade taste).
金牌焗海鮮飯
The waiter reminded me not to touch the bowl sides as it is very hot . The cheese on top taste very delicious! There were several kinds of seafood including squid, fish, shrimp etc. in the rice plus vegetables. Remember to mix the cheese well with the rice!
I think this shop did not use a lot of MSG as I did not feel thirsty afterwards. Will come back to try 龍蝦湯飯.
