To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 富園執左後就變左百份百喇,新進快餐店。第一次黎望望,當然要睇清楚個 menu 啦 ﹗以快餐店黎講,佢地既菜色多到嚇親我 ﹗中、港、台、日、意、印、等等。發現好多菜色都話攞奬,又話出名,係咪真架?咖哩、叉燒、蕃茄都好出名?凍齋啡走甜,正常味道,快餐店質數,合格。海南雞飯套餐配油味飯例湯,話晒第一次,試樣簡單既先啦 ﹗最緊要穩陣。蘿蔔,嘩 ﹗唔係掛,一咬即吐 ﹗又苦又澀又有渣 ﹗劣 ﹗青紅蘿蔔豬骨湯,噢 ﹗好清純呀,淡如水。睇落好多料,但水汪汪,居然要我自己加鹽,師傅唔記得落鹽?海南雞飯,點解會用鹽水雞呢?海南雞應該係白切雞黎喎,點解變左咸雞架?好采都唔難食,雖然無咩雞味,質地都夠腍,髀肉都滑,又唔係太肥,咸雞配上薑蓉同油味飯都幾好味。飯帶微微雞油香,又唔係話太濕,滿意。
