Two months have already passed since the last time i wrote a review to VERO.In these two months, i went there to try their new products sometimes, but only on weekdays. And this time, I came VERO on Saturday with my friend. To avoid any unnecessary waiting time, me and my friend decided to go there in the morning. When we arrived there, almost 11am, there was no other customers. Either the bad weather or it was still early. But this also is the reason why we went there on morning.
The staff, Flora, has already recognised me when i just got into the shop. Don't know this is a good thing or not (repersent i am joblessness for long. lol). But it was feeling nice and warm to the customer who didn't go there often but still remember him/her.
Food that ordered:
Iced Chocolate, Hot Chocolate, Brownies, Cassis Marshmallow & Passion Fruit Marshmallow (看其他食家的圖吧)
Iced Chocolate (ordered by my friend) ---- presentation is beautiful. Chocolate at the bottom layer, cream mixed choclate in the middle layer, and cream + 爆炸糖的粒粒 on the top, plus a cookie for decoration. And the taste is still good.
Hot Chocolate (I ordered) ---- same presentation as usual. But this time, the flavour was a bit strong in sour, especially after eating Brownies
Brownies ---- Brownie for me, is fudgy, high density, no other ingredients (such as nuts etc..), very rich chocolate cake. The brownie's texture here can't be said fudgy or caky, but in between. it is the texture that we like. If i not remember wrongly, it contains nuts to rich the flavour and texture. Size is not small---almost like Sony Ericsson K750i's size, you will get full if you have it for snack i think.
Passion Fruit Marshmallow (Lollipop)
I quite like their passion fruit flavour, not too strong but fresh. and it just melted when you put it in month. Cassis flavour, i have no idea becuase i didn't try it.
We didn't have any other chocolate in their tasting meun this itme.
For those who come here on saturday afternoon, you must prepare for waiting quite a long time (ages???).
