Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 八月六日(星期三)每次粉絲問起,要介紹香港吃印度菜的好去處,比利便會毫不猶豫推薦Jashan中環區工作,來訪不知多少次,每次水準隠定,沒有失望而回離開中環,真的有少少掛住佢,這晚,又來了走進了燈光陰暗的餐廳,帶一點神秘感客人多以外籍人士為多,若佔六乘左右餐廳也剛剛推出新的夏日餐牌,供應至八月底選擇挺多的,多款新推的前菜,主菜和飲品,同時也用上時令食材炮製,很吸引!先來杯Ginger Lemon Cooler飲品賣相不俗,用上了檸檬及薑兩款挺能觸動味覺神經的材料製作味道是先酸後甜,又夾着點點薑的辣勁,實在是非常醒胃!在夏日餐牌中選了Bombay Tawa Murgh作其中一款前菜以小杯盛著的雞肉串帶點微辣,放上芥末時的味道又會產生變化,味道層次豐富略嫌雞肉仍不夠嫰滑(對此店的要求要提高一點),否則效果應會很出色另一道前菜也選擇了雞,是用上12小時醃製而成的青檸椰子烤雞陣陣的青檸香,入口又帶鮮甜的椰子味,兩者味道十分匹配這一碟的雞肉就比前一款嫰滑得多,雞味又香濃,推介!前菜過後,來個重口味的南印咖喱鯖魚南印的氣候炎熱,當地人為增加食慾,做的咖喱也相對北印度的濃郁,辣勁也更強,不過就會較稀身

南印的氣候炎熱,當地人為增加食慾,做的咖喱也相對北印度的濃郁,辣勁也更強,不過就會較稀身
用上新鮮的鯖魚製作,魚的鮮香配合咖喱的辣勁,對比強烈
當然,既惹味又香辣的咖喱汁,也要即時拿來印度薄餅和飯來相伴喇~

甜品的賣相挺美觀的,用水果及蜜糖作伴碟
芒果味的雪糕混合了開心果肉,質感較為結實,是較少吃到的質感
味道帶清新香甜芒果香,來得自然,值得一試~
