To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

長而斜的水街向來眾多食店臨立,前陣子路過看到有間點心食店開了,在這裡找找看資料,發現有些具創意又趣緻的小點心,便拉著掌門人這個週日來吃個sunday brunch。點心店裝飾得簡單雅致,牆壁上貼著幾幅昔日香港街道的黑白照片,帶來了點點老香港的格調。店員態度殷切地安排我們的位置,我們便看看印製得簡潔的餐牌,這裡除了主打自家製作點心外,還提供茶餐廳式的早、午及下午茶餐,收費頗親民,點心從小點$14,至頂點的$26,實在是街坊價錢呢。點心款式的選擇很豐富,餐牌裡已經分門別類,方便客人按門類下單,當中好些點心都是懷舊款式,如【鵪鶉蛋燒賣】、【雞球大包】、【四寶滑雞扎】、【臘味糯米包】等,均滿載懷舊風味,現在已經較少吃到。向店員查問過是否有那些在網上看到的創意點心,告知這個星期沒有提供,暫時定在4月的第一個週末會推出,但仍未知道會是那些點心款式,有些失望呢 ....只好點些其他的吧。先來的【春風得意腸】屬於頂點,收費$26,放在了一個大型湯匙形狀的盛器送來的腸粉,賣相討好,在原來雪白單寡的腸粉上灑上了黑白芝麻粒,增加了點點色彩,薄薄的腸粉皮下是炸至金黃色的春卷,入口時是軟香的腸粉跟酥脆的春卷皮

先來的【春風得意腸】屬於頂點,收費$26,放在了一個大型湯匙形狀的盛器送來的腸粉,賣相討好,在原來雪白單寡的腸粉上灑上了黑白芝麻粒,增加了點點色彩,薄薄的腸粉皮下是炸至金黃色的春卷,入口時是軟香的腸粉跟酥脆的春卷皮一併咬,口感豐富,春卷內是彈牙的鮮蝦肉,十分美味。

【鴛鴦燒賣】($22)是黑松露及蟹籽各兩只,體積碩大,每顆都放了一只蝦兒,再在蝦兒上放上了黑松露及蟹籽,燒賣內是瘦肉及蝦膠打成的,甚具嚼度,既有鮮蝦的鮮味,亦有黑松露及蟹籽各具的獨有香氣。

向來喜愛懷舊點心的我看到這裡有兒時常吃的【臘味糯米包】收費只是$16,當然不會錯過,3只鮮黃色的糯米包造型多年不變,包皮同樣的軟儒煙紉,內裡的糯米炒得十分乾身,沒帶半點油膩感,只是臘味的份量不多,若能多添點臘味,增加點鹹香味,味道必會更佳。

最後要來了一份店方的創意推介【奶黃流沙西多士】來當作甜點,新鮮炸出的西多士外皮呈金黃色,是沾上了蛋醬來炸的原故,把它劏開,極邪惡的奶黃醬如泉水般爆湧出來,份量之多幾乎浸染了整份多士,麵包外皮酥香,奶黃醬內含有沙沙狀的鹹蛋黃碎粒,味道濃郁甜蜜,帶來鹹鹹甜甜的豐富層次味道,吃罷充滿罪惡感呢

 總體來說,小店的點心全是即點即蒸或做的,自家製作充滿誠意,當中好些懷舊點心冀望能把昔日港式點心承傳下去,讓更多人能再嚐到舊日的味道,收費亦是街坊價錢,不收加一,實在值得支持呢。

結帳的時候,店員溫馨提示說,請多留意它們的FACEBOOK,若有創意點心推出的時候,定會上載相片的。
