To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

每年8月均走訪養和醫院眼科部，轉眼來到第12個年頭。今年趁著有點時間，檢查前先在跑馬地找個地方吃一個人的午餐。下午1時半，踏進「上海弄堂」，既沒有華麗裝潢，也沒有連銷食店的喧鬧，正全心意。「弄堂」，意指居民群居的小巷，吃的當然是家庭常菜。本人饕雞，點了一客醉雞配陽春湯麵，加一杯豆漿，只需$56，沒加一，沒小費。醉雞蛋酒香撲鼻，雞皮爽滑；陽春麵已被店家細心剪開，咬落滑而不𣲷，美中不足是湯頭略鹹；豆漿非常香濃，看得出店家的用心。飽餐一頓，暑氣全消！
