To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 假日諗住同屋企人飲茶,阿媽話事去邊飲,佢近期愛上咗潮庭,因為可以用app拎飛唔洗企係到等咁耐。潮庭有好多細枱,如果2個嚟會快啲同唔洗強制撘枱,依樣最好。話明有個潮字,緊係有好多潮式樣,有滷水、油裸、蒸裸之類。叫左樣滷水試下。滷水豬手--比人食左2舊先記得影相,滷水味幾好又夠味,但豬手皮有啲毛未清,唔係會更好。蝦餃--整得幾好,皮夠薄餡料夠多,唔會一夾就散,阿媽好鐘意。雪山叉燒包--又係阿媽另一必叫,叉燒足料,鐘意面層既雪山,甜甜地,似墨西哥包咁。薑蔥牛栢葉--到我既至愛而家係茶樓見到牛栢葉真係買少見少,都唔知幾耐冇食過,佢都係吸引我嚟潮庭既原因。栢葉爽口,份量夠唔會得幾舊。鮮蝦腐皮卷、牛肉腸粉--牛肉腸出奇地好食,皮薄,事關平時對腸粉麻麻。腐皮卷熱辣辣,好脆口,有大大粒鮮蝦係入面。整體上都唔錯。
