Restaurant: Istanbul Express Turkish Restaurant (Lockhart Road)

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 要參加公式除夕晚會,太座去左set頭,我當然要食少少野,因為果種場合通常講多過食,唔會有野到肚,打定底絕無損失。見這裡有間新開的卡巴店,幾新淨又有得坐,就來幫襯。同名在尖沙咀都有舖頭,不過這裡就更企理。聞著串燒羊肉的香味,就叫了個羊doner的套餐。前菜可選湯或沙律,不想渴到一肚水,就要了沙律。原不寄厚望,但賣相又不錯,除了不少的生菜絲及蕃茄粒,還有醃青椒、洋蔥及青橄欖在內,灑上點香料粉,都是一個清新又幾豐富的頭盤;羊doner要了飯,除了烤羊肉又是一堆沙律菜在旁,幾夠份量。先吃羊,烤起上來有點乾,是意料中事,不過味道不錯,尤其吃得到帶肥膏的部份就更加香,是有一貫的水準。飯還加了菘子仁,不過味道卻沒有預期中的香味,都算及格。套餐連汽水一罐,45蚊,都唔算很貴,下次來要試試其他食物,因為望落都幾對辦又唔錯。
