Spotted this new place and thought I would give it a try since I have been bored with eating the same old thing over and over again!Upon entry, the place's neatly decorated and since it was lunch hours, I ordered from the set menu. Upon entry, the place's neatly decorated and since it was lunch hours, I ordered from the set menu. Mushroom soup, carbonara, Tiramisu and a cup of hot Americano!
The mushroom soup was served with some toast, having some tomato on top. The soup was creamy and the toast with tomato complimented the soup very nicely.
Then the carbonara was served, the outlook was nothing extravagant and the dish was well cooked, each mouthful was heavenly though it would have been even better had the carbonara been a bit hotter, it was warm when eating it rather than being hot!
Not a big fan of Tiramisu but I thought seeing that I was trying this place out, I would give everything a try and to my delight, while the outlook has some room for improvement, it actually tasted very nicely, not too sweet yet very creamy!
The meal ended with the cup of Americano and seeing that this is a coffee shop, it would actually make or break its future! And to my delight, the cup of Americano turned out to be the best cup of Americano I have had for years, very rich yet not too strong!
All in all, a very exciting new find and I will definitely be back for more!
