To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 麻香椰菜:餐牌介紹係食到停唔到口,真的,幾開胃、好特別。無諗過椰菜可以生食的。牛角飯:如果你去過韓國食地道紫菜飯,又或者買過一些由韓國入口專用作混在飯內食的紫菜食,你就會覺得牛角飯不夠好食。但若從未食過的話,你會覺得好特別、好好食!我就略嫌紫菜太少。厚燒牛舌:幾軟,有牛味,有口感。加上檸檬汁,很醒胃!牛粒:好似$56,份量也不少,而且肉質很好,最特別側邊的牛油同蒜,係放在爐上溶後再點牛肉粒食。但個人認為不能突出蒜味。但整體係好食的。牛肋骨肉:有5件,有牛味,平均$10一件,好似貴d喎!自己動手燒,別有一番風味。爐溫十分平均,唔似d韓式放題的爐具,個火時大時細。抹茶銅鑼燒:我第一次要放在爐上整熱,好有驚喜,冷與熱、硬與軟之間,推!裡面除了抹茶雪糕,還有一層紅豆,十分有心思,好味極了!:
