Spacious. Very well spaced out and partitioned. Very high ceiling with stylish decor: dimly lit, black and red.
About 10 tables for four persons on one side and another 10 at the other side.

A service bell was also available at each table, simply press for service. The staff members were polite and efficient.

Stove: Same as those use in many new yakiniku places like Wako and Wako Bar. Quick to heat up and cool down but not as easy to control as the radiators at Iroha.

Selections:

A small but overall reasonable selection of Chicken and Pork meat. I didn't notice much innards.

Quite a lot of beef products to choose from: Loins, Tongue, Ribs... it seemed to me to be more expensive than Iroha.

Food:

Spicy butabara (pork belly) : This was just average. Marinated with a bit of Korean chili sauce and chili powder. The taste of the pork was light. It wasn't that spicy either. Iroha's butabara was much, much better.

Ton toro: Quite good. Slightly thicker and more aromatic than those at Iroha.
One of the better selections in this meal.

Chicken : The texture of the meat was tender but the taste was bland. It's wasn't properly marinated.

Miso Leek Veggie basket: A bit of green for a balanced meal - always a good companion for grilled meats. The veggies were of average freshness. The "spicy" miso had an interesting tangy soy bean taste but light for my taste.

Condiments: Lemon oil, Salt, Soy sauce with sesame (again, very bland) and a piece of lemon.

Aburi beef sushi: I urged my wife to try this since beef appeared to be their signature meat. According to my wife, the sushi rice was good. The beef also tasted nice but was slightly overlooked.

We needed some carbs to fill us up so we ordered a chichimi.

Chichimi: Rather oily but very crispy. The seafood inside the chichimi, a few shrimps and scallops, were fresh. Fun to eat and flavourful but pricey for the size: HK$128!

Ice cream: Hint of cinnamon in this creamy ice cream. Delicious! Recommended!

Conclusion:

Not cheap at all: HK$660 for two with just one beer amongst us.

They charged Iroha price but the quality is not as good as Iroha, Wako, Gyukaku or Wako bar.

Nevertheless, this authentic yakiniku shop from Japan is still a welcomed addition to Mong Kok.

We will not rule out returning here in view of the convenient location and comfortable environment.
