來到Chop Chop 食神叉燒晚餐,叫了二個主菜,一個燒味和兩杯野飲。食神暗然銷魂飯:概然是招牌菜,又豈有不點的理由。叉燒肥瘦剛好,入口鬆化。太陽蛋煎得有少許膿邊,外圍香脆,內裡流心,撈飯一流。秘製醬汁有香蔥的味道,十分惹味。食神干炒牛河:有驚喜!第一次食有木魚碎的干炒牛河,想不到味道和牛河十分㚒,牛河一般會比較油膩,木魚碎有助減少油膩感,亦令到牛河更有鮮味。牛河亦加入炒蛋,令整道菜味道昇華,更有層次。燒味雙餅叫了燒鵝和油雞。燒鵝燒得十分香,油雞十分嫩滑,不錯。餐飲叫了鹹檸七和鹹檸樂,用上原粒鹹檸,抵讚。一向都叫鹹檸七居多,友人點了鹹檸樂,鹹檸中和了可樂的甜味,有意想不到的驚喜。總括來說,食神叉燒作為一間以燒味為主打的餐廳,燒味固然之好味,但想不到除了燒味,牛河亦是水準之上,以後到沙田晚餐又一個好去處!
