To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

燒味安全

金鐘中環有好幾間canteen，每間的燒味頗有信心保證，幾乎好少失手。我例必食叉燒飯，因為叉燒甘香蜜味，就算是瘦叉，肉質依然鬆化，飯又夠硬身，粒粒爽口。同事一改以往要的燒鴨米，轉食日式叉燒寬兒麵，這就出事了。雖然賣相唔錯，但叉燒似腩肉，肥膏甚多，所謂的寬兒麵，不少日式拉麵，又不是烏冬或稻亭烏冬，不如說是上海麵，麵身是腍腍的。同事也認為下次食回燒味較安全。
