To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 爸爸生日當然要用心選餐廳慶祝。 由於家族都是食得之人, 一行九位來到觀塘東廣場陶源酒家品嚐十二位用的珍品宴。到達酒家先發現原來平日晚市入座率只一、兩成,中餐來說,實在有點冷清........ 但其實酒家環境十分舒適寬敞,下次可約朋友前來試試點心😊第一道菜乳豬全體,亦是本人最喜歡菜式。 未上枱已聞到乳豬燒烤香味並即時在客人面前剪件。 入口果然香脆入味,家人也大讚此菜式比八月系列嘅BB豬更好味,連整個豬頭都食埋🤣金榜醬焗美國龍蝦 - 龍蝦新鮮肉質結實,醬汁帶輕微辣味,不錯。如意蘭度炒遼參螺片 - 賣相十分麻麻,上枱亂糟糟,遼參螺片相對份量較少,蘭度有點老😟金絲蟹肉黃金卷 - 普普通通,食唔出亦睇唔到蟹肉,味道好一般。紅燒花膠蟹肉翅 - 爸爸吃第一口已說超鹹,其後家人也覺不對勁,唯有向經理反映並請她們也嚐嚐。 結果安排重新烹調另一煲,這次好一點但仍可再淡味一點。 但說句公道話此蟹肉翅其實十分足料而且湯底飲得出係用足料餚製並唔係因為加鹽變鹹。清蒸海星班 - 夠份量,蒸魚時間掌握十分準確,剛剛熟,肉質香滑,魚肉彈牙😋黃金脆香雞 - 另一道出色之作👍🏼雞皮做到超薄香脆而且一啲都唔肥,雞肉亦夠味,
