Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我今晚去了中環影燈飾,影完相之後就去了之前一間好想去試的印度餐廳度食一食。位於中環荷里活道的Jashan Celebrating Indian  Cuisine是一家揉合了多種印度地區菜系的印度餐廳,曾被米芝蓮推介過,因此不容錯過。餐廳佈置漂亮,格調暗柔浪漫,座位舒適,與伴侶來撐檯腳,實在一流。我們隨即點了兩杯芒果乳酪(MANGO LASSI)。乳酪甜度適中,帶有豐富的芒果味道,是印度餐廳必點飲品。首先,我們嘗了一下德里脆球(DELHI GOLGAPPA SHOTS) $68 ,它是一道非常受歡迎的街頭小吃,配上辣味醬料和香菜蔥汁,杯上盛載的醬汁可直接倒在,口感酥脆脆球內,然後一口咬下,味道清新開胃,蔥汁非常香酸。令我想起阿米爾罕主演的電影《拉辛正傳》,他在戲裡吃的相信就是這款小食。作為印度餐廳的經典菜餚,咖哩角(SAMOSA) $58 是一定要嘗試的美食。這道菜將薯蓉及鷹咀豆混合在一起,搭配上香料烹調,口感酥脆可口。與咖哩角形影不離的,就要數到印度烤雞 (CHICKEN TIKKA) $128 了,這道料理烤得香脆可口,肉質鮮嫩,加上各種香料的調味,整體滿分。這道菜非常適合當作宴客菜
