To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 昨晚幫長輩慶賀生日, 一枱十三人....地方窄, 枱亦唔夠大, 但在星光行既酒樓, 歷史悠久, 都值得黎見識下!為了讓老人家歡喜, 家人預定了富貴雞, 還有金鎚仔一隻, 個人覺得隻雞都幾嚡, 汁料濃味, 可送飯, 片皮鴨, 麵包皮略硬, 唔夠熱, 醬汁頗濃, 松子黃魚, 細細條, 幾鮮味, 不過, 炸漿略厚, 炒鱔糊無咩味, 清炒西蘭花, 夠清, 唔多油, 我諗一般人唔鍾意, 素鴨, 似春卷, 料足, 唔錯, 咕嚕肉, 酸甜度剛好, 但如果脆漿薄身少少就好啦, 值得一提係叫了個京燒羊肉, 居然來了個半炒燴羊肉, 經理話要注明係窩燒先啱, 真係唔識分, 佢又唔講....???......其實無咩特別好食既菜式, 只係呢間多花招, 又片皮鴨, 富貴雞, 拉麵等表演....論食物, 價錢, 下次真係唔需要考慮!R12
