To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 同d男性嘅朋友出街食飯唔知點解佢哋特別鍾意嗌湯,唔知係因為屋企冇啖湯水飲呀,定係咁鍾意飲湯,要餐餐飲。雖然我唔係好鍾意出去外邊飲湯,覺得出面嘅湯好多味精。但係嚟到酒樓我就放心咁樣飲,雖然明知道會有少少味精,但係起碼佢係經過好多時間去燉一個湯出嚟,而唔係好似茶餐廳咁同一個湯,係咁加料飲足幾日。菜乾白肺燉湯,入邊除咗有菜乾之外仲會有白肺,有雞腳,瘦肉,好明顯所有材料已經非常之淋,啖湯都夠味。蒸帶子,本身係想食元貝,但係因為冇貨,咁唯有就整個帶子黎食下。但係佢啲帶子都整得唔錯,個蒜蓉整得好香,火候亦都剛剛好。出到嚟食飯點少得要蒸條魚嚟食呢,條魚個份量雖然唔係話好大條,但係四個人食就啱啱好,整出嚟嘅肉質都好滑。仲蒸左幾隻南非鮑魚食,豪一豪拒。爽口,鮮甜。 而且價錢仲唔貴,比起係街市買仲平添。其實有老婆唔代表一定有湯飲,我見到拒甘可憐都忍唔住想煲d湯過拒飲,哈哈。

菜乾白肺燉湯,入邊除咗有菜乾之外仲會有白肺,有雞腳,瘦肉,好明顯所有材料已經非常之淋,啖湯都夠味。
