To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

上年食過同一間海港嘅外賣長腳蟹好得好好食，今年請屋企人嚟堂食。職員幫手揀咗隻幾生猛嘅，點知蒸好上枱時俾啲蟹膏嚇親，成兜坑渠水咁(見圖1），好唔正常。上年啲膏係好靚好好食(見圖2)，蟹腳肉亦好鮮甜，我地都喺其他地方食過好多次，但都冇見過係咁，又聞唔到鮮味。兩位職員都堅持蟹沒有問題，又不肯換，我們只能取消order去另一間食。我們對餐廳很失望，不知道是職員換了不新鮮的蟹還是他們入的貨唔靚，大家小心啲。
