To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

兩公婆點咗兩份下午茶餐，熱咖啡好快上枱，但惡夢開始啦！目測應該有廿位客人，每一個都係有嘢飲不過冇嘢食，如是者過咗半個鐘頭都係未上食物，但係啲員工玩手機嘅玩手機，吹水嘅繼續吹水，冇人發覺點解廚房冇餐出嚟嘅？到有客人吹單，亦冇員工講「究竟發生乜嘢事」，我最激氣係我想要一杯水，佢俾錯左隔離枱，之後收返嗰杯但我話其實係我要，佢立即馬上收咗隻杯。最後由落單開始計我嘅餐用咗45分鐘先上！本人第一次寫食評，居然係負評，只可以講，我餓死都唔會再去，究竟係咪我當黑，食飯啫，差啲激到心臟病發！
