To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 3/9 (星期日)最近經常飲茶想轉口味,所以提意去蔡瀾美食廣場,來到差不多2:30pm,唯獨太興見還有人要拿籌等位,而且在店舖外還擺放三四張枱,妹妹同弟弟去巡視其他食店時,媽媽建意不如先拿籌,待他們回來還是決定不了吃什麼,我說媽媽都喜歡吃燒味不如就這間,好在很快就有位了.我們四人點了以下幾款套餐:燒味雙併(燒肉/叉燒)$40 ~ 原本想要乳豬可惜已沽清,叉燒雖然是全瘦,但都好腍,弟弟說好味因他不喜歡吃有肥肉的部份,燒肉就一般,媽媽覺得好貴,沒辦法這裡的裝修及名牌反應怎能同一般大排檔,茶餐廳相比,何況坐得舒服又食得安樂.的式焗密桃汁叉燒飯$32 ~ 第一次食燒味焗飯,估唔到都可以這麼好味,酸酸甜甜的醬汁好醒胃,再加上我喜愛的半肥瘦叉燒(這個焗飯的叉燒全部是半肥瘦),我個人就已經吃掉三份之二的叉燒.公司三文治(下午茶餐)$28 ~ 材料有芝士,蕃茄,生菜,炒蛋,火腿,味道ok.妹妹想吃菜,就叫了一碟菜心$12,菜心好爽又不會老,好久沒有吃到這麼靚的菜心了.
