To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

在這條看似荒蕪的屋邨, 竟然給我找到一間開業超過三十年的潮州粉麵店, 據聞這店一向有班街坊、學生老顧客支持, 開店時間由早上六時至凌晨一時半, 實行早餐至宵夜都可以暖住你個胃。門口是淥麵廚房, 內裏掛著多抽牛內臟, 並且有一盤翻騰著的滷水汁, 不論牛腩還是牛雜都是要經過滷水的洗禮, 滷水料多達十多款: 包括草果、桂皮、八角、沙茶等等, 味道濃香得來也不會鹹到死翹翹內部亦有一個廚房, 是製造粥、腸粉、炒麵等食品的基地。來碗牛雜河... 牛雜會食到有香料的味道, 留在口腔內縈迴不散;味道不會過鹹至少牛的臊味也可吃得出來;要說肉質這方面, 不要期望是腍到磨兩磨就散開, 總要帶幾分嚼勁, 要越嚼越出味才能嚐出那股功夫來。即拉豬潤腸粉 ... 據聞米漿是用石磨磨出來, 難怪腸粉米味重, 粉皮薄, 入口滑嘟嘟;豬潤是切到薄薄的一片片, 清洗乾淨亦無內臟的臭腥味。 炒麵就只得少許配菜拌食, 油份頗高, 而麵條質地也較黏牙據聞此店的殺手鐧就是選用新鮮牛內臟, 兼且不怕水費貴咁用心地清洗內臟, 內臟清潔就可以無止境地吸收滷水精華。
